Central, free-hanging fireplace with rotating firebox
Dominique Imbert created this model in 1968, and since then it has set new standards in both design and technical execution. It is the earliest example worldwide of a free-hanging and 360° rotating fireplace.
The flue pipe and mounting flange are custom-made, ensuring trouble-free installation. The material used boasts very high thermal conductivity. This sophisticated model, in every respect, has been a classic worldwide for decades and represents our trademark.
The Gyrofocus was exhibited in the Museums of Contemporary Art in Bordeaux (1996) and Grenoble (1997) before being presented at the Guggenheim Museum in New York in 1998 as an outstanding example of good design.
The Gyrofocus was voted “the most beautiful object in the world” by 74,425 internet users in the Italian design competition “Pulchra” (2009).
